Show Up North Festival

Newcastle is set to welcome a brand-new women’s lifestyle festival this October, bringing together fitness, wellbeing, health, careers, money, style, food and entertainment across a three-day programme.

Show Up North takes place from 9th–11th October 2026, with more than 55 sessions, workshops and experiences taking place across the city and at Event Northumbria.

Created by North East businesswoman and Show Up Club founder Claire Goodliff, the festival is billed as the first event of its kind in the region. Rather than following a set schedule, visitors can create their own weekend from a pick-and-mix programme.

There is plenty for fitness fans, from reformer Pilates, barre and Hotpod to line dancing, shuffle skipping, Powerhoop and a Taste of Hyrox session. There is even an 8am Hydration Rave with a live DJ for those keen to start their Saturday with a difference.

The programme also covers topics such as women’s health, sleep, hormones, nutrition, thyroid health, investing, career change, confidence and personal style. Creative workshops, food experiences and a marketplace featuring independent brands will also form part of the weekend.

Around 90% of the instructors, speakers, coaches, brands and businesses involved are from the North East, with local talent at the heart of the event.

Claire says: “I wanted this to feel like something you genuinely couldn’t do in a normal weekend. You can try things you’ve never done before, learn something that could change the way you think about your health, your career or your money, discover brilliant local businesses and meet women you might never otherwise cross paths with.”
