Solstice and House of Tides, both located on Newcastle Quayside, received recognition at the AA Hospitality Awards 2026, held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London last month.
Solstice has retained its impressive four AA Rosettes, which it was first awarded in 2025, while House of Tides has retained three AA Rosettes, having first received the accolade in 2017.
The AA Rosettes recognise restaurants demonstrating high standards of culinary excellence, with the programme celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
Kenny Atkinson, who is behind both restaurants, says: “To have both House of Tides and Solstice retain their AA Rosettes at the same time made the evening even really special.
“Awards like this reflect the incredible teams behind both restaurants, whose commitment, creativity, and consistency continue to push us forward. I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.’’
