Newcastle Vegan Festival is returning to the city this autumn, bringing a day of vegan food, ethical shopping and plenty of plant-powered inspiration to Walker Activity Dome.
Taking place this October, the festival will feature more than 60 vegan stalls, with everything from plant-based food and sweet treats to cruelty-free beauty, sustainable fashion, gifts and homewares.
Food is naturally a big part of the day, with stalls offering pies, cakes, chocolates, sandwiches, salads and more. There will also be drinks, smoothies and plenty of free samples to try before you buy.
Away from the food stalls, visitors can browse cruelty-free skincare and beauty products, candles, jewellery, crafts and ethical clothing, while talks and demonstrations will offer the chance to find out more about vegan and plant-based living.
The festival isn’t just aimed at committed vegans either. Whether you’re vegetarian, flexitarian, curious about eating more plant-based food or simply fancy discovering some independent traders, everyone is welcome.

Our festivals offer a one-stop destination where you can discover amazing plant-based products, support small family-run businesses, and see just how delicious, accessible, and varied vegan living can be.”
Newcastle Vegan Festival takes place at Walker Activity Dome in Newcastle on Saturday 31st October from 10.30am to 4pm. Standard tickets cost £5 (with under 16’s free), while VIP tickets are £15 and include a goody bag packed with vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.
