Hotel du Vin Newcastle is hosting Mediterranean-inspired outdoor dining evenings this summer.
The boutique hotel on City Road is hosting two special Wood, Fire & Vine dining events, bringing together Mediterranean-inspired dishes, Sicilian wines and al fresco dining in its courtyard.
Taking place on Friday 24th July and Friday 21st August 2026, the events are part of a nationwide collaboration between Hotel du Vin and Sicilian winery Planeta.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling Planeta wine before settling in for a menu of Franco-Sicilian sharing dishes, cooked over hot coals by Hotel du Vin’s chefs. Throughout the evening, a selection of wines from the family-owned winery will also be available to purchase, chosen to complement the seasonal menu.
