Connor Burns, a fast-rising name in the comedy world, brings his brand-new show GALLUS to The Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle on 15th February 2026.
GALLUS is Connor’s fourth solo show, dubbed a “fiercely funny, no-nonsense hour” that showcases the performer’s razor-sharp wit and cutting one-liners.
Discussing his show, Connor says: “Scots have a failsafe way of making sure their kin don’t get too full of themselves – they cut them down to size at every opportunity. But if an outsider was to attack you they’d defend you to the death. As a Scottish comedian I dance on that razor of wanting to blow up the room, but always checking over my shoulder to see if I might just be getting too cocky. Gallus.”
His previous show, 1994, sold over 10,000 tickets in his hometown of Edinburgh, and he also sold out two nights at The King’s Theatre during the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
