Fashionistas, it’s time to free up your diaries and make a date with a special line-up of events in Newcastle celebrating London Fashion Week.

This year, London Fashion Week turns the big 4-0. To celebrate, it’s hosting more than 1000 events across London, Manchester – and here in Newcastle!

For the first time ever, the British Fashion Council is bringing its City Wide Celebration up north, shining a spotlight on all things retail and fashion with its specially curated progamme of experiences and activities.

And where better to play host to this stylish ensemble of events than our very own high street favourite, Fenwick department store?

Dubbed ‘the fashion destination in the North East’, Fenwick champions both established and emerging designers, including brands such as Balmain, Zimmerman, LEMAIRE, and Isabel Marant.

During September 2024, Fenwick has the following lined up:

  • FRED’s restaurant is a new French-inspired take on Newcastle’s own Terrace Tea Room, which Fred Fenwick opened in 1911. Think classic black and white tiles, bistro style seating, and a scrumptious selection of patisserie creations. It’s located on the lower ground floor, along from Mother Mercy cocktail bar.

  • The department store’s popular rooftop bar, Roof 39, will be taken over by luxury make up brand Charlotte Tilbury from 3rd to 16th September. Expect glamorous beauty pop-ups, Tilbury-inspired cocktails, sweet treats, and an iconic afternoon tea.

More events will be announced soon, so keep an eye on Fenwick’s social media channels.
