Freya Ridings to perform at The Glasshouse this September
Freya Ridings is heading to The Glasshouse this autumn as part of a UK tour celebrating her third studio album, Mother Of Pearl, which was released in May of this year.
The London-born singer-songwriter will perform at the Gateshead venue on Sunday 27th September 2026, bringing her powerful vocals and emotionally charged alt-pop music to the North East.
Ridings shot to fame with her 2017 Top 10 single Lost Without You, which has since racked up almost half a billion Spotify streams. Known for balancing heartfelt ballads and piano-led melodies with bigger, anthemic choruses, the 32-year-old has gone on to establish herself as one of the UK’s standout vocalists.
Her self-titled debut album, released in 2019, reached the UK Top 10, as did her 2023 follow-up Blood Orange. The latter helped to elevate Ridings’ international profile, with the singer touring around the world and earning a BRIT Award nomination for Best Female Solo Artist.
As Mother Of Pearl ushers in her next chapter, Ridings will showcase her new material alongside some of her best-known songs at The Glasshouse for what promises to be a memorable evening of live music.
