Families can celebrate 50 years of Aardman this summer as Aardman in Concert arrives at O2 City Hall Newcastle on Sunday 30th August 2026.
The live show from Carrot Productions combines some of the animation studio’s most iconic moments with a live orchestra, featuring favourites such as Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Morph and Creature Comforts.
The first half of the performance takes audiences on a musical journey through Aardman’s five-decade history, with specially created orchestral arrangements accompanying clips from its best-loved productions.
The second half features a full screening of Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers accompanied live by the orchestra. This classic is one of the studio’s most celebrated adventures, and features Aardman’s most unforgettable villain, Feathers McGraw.

Aardman in Concert is part of a wider tour, with Newcastle among a number of dates across the UK.
