Royal Northern Sinfonia

This June, Royal Northern Sinfonia is taking classical music out on the road, bringing a series of intimate concerts to beautiful churches across the North of England.

Joined by acclaimed violinist Charlotte Scott, the orchestra will perform in Carlisle, Hexham, Hartlepool and Cullercoats.

The programme features a selection of much-loved works, including Dvořák’s Czech Suite, Mozart’s Third Violin Concerto and Schubert’s Symphony No. 5, promising an uplifting evening of live music.

Royal Northern Sinfonia, based at The Glasshouse in Gateshead, is renowned for bringing world-class performances to audiences across the North East, and this summer tour offers a chance to experience the orchestra in some of the region’s most captivating venues.

The line-up includes St Cuthbert’s in Carlisle on 25th June, Hexham Abbey on 26th June, St Hilda’s in Hartlepool on 27th June and St George’s in Cullercoats on 28th June 2026.
