House of Tides After Hours

Michelin-starred restaurant House of Tides has launched After Hours, a new Sunday evening concept offering a more relaxed dining experience inspired by the brasseries of Paris.

The menu centres around simple dishes executed with precision, including steak frites with sauce verte, house salad with mustard vinaigrette, hazelnuts and herbs, and freshly baked baguette.

Diners can choose from a selection of original cocktails, such as the Ms Pac-Man – a blend of vanilla infused Hepple Gin, house-made sour cherry syrup, Vault Bitter and soda, and the Alpine Negroni combining Hepple Gin, strawberry vermouth and Dola Dira Rhubarb Aperitif with beeswax.

A wine list featuring bottles from vineyards across Europe will be available, while a soundtrack of 80s synth-pop and guest DJs helps create a laid-back atmosphere.

Kenny Atkinson, Chef-Owner of House of Tides, said: “We had been talking for a while about doing something different in the downstairs area to attract a different customer base and bring new energy to House of Tides. After numerous discussions with the team, ‘After Hours’ was born.

“It was exciting to be in a position to give the team the freedom to create a space where people can get together in informal surroundings, eat simple, tasty dishes, and chill with a cocktail while they listen to great music. It’s very different to what we do upstairs, and that’s exactly the point.’’

After Hours runs every Sunday from 6.30pm and bookings for June are now live at www.houseoftides.co.uk.
