This summer’s line-up of 20 Michelin-starred chefs has now been revealed for Newcastle charity food event, ThirdBite.

The much-loved foodie fundraiser, created by the team behind Restaurant Pine, will take over Wylam Brewery on Sunday 19th July 2026 and bring together some of the UK’s biggest culinary names.

On the day, each chef will serve up just 500 portions of their exclusive street food dish, giving food lovers the chance to sample Michelin-starred cooking in a relaxed festival-style setting.

Dish tokens officially go on sale this Sunday 31st May, priced at £10 each, and must be purchased in advance. Each token can be exchanged for one dish.

This year’s ThirdBite line-up includes:

Cal Byerley and Ian Waller (Pine), Gareth Ward (Ynyshir), Adam Handling MBE (The Frog and pictured above), Paul Burgalieres (L’Enclume), Chet Sharma (Bibi), James Knappett (Kitchen Table), Tom Shepherd (Upstairs by Tom Shepherd), Josh Angus (HIDE), Mark Donald (The Glenturret), Johnnie Crowe (St Barts), Jean Delport (Interlude), Lisa Goodwin-Allen (Northcote), David Taylor (Grace & Savour), Paul Leonard (Forest Side), Rafael Cagali (Daterra), Jack Bond (The Cottage in the Wood), Roberta Hall (Little Chartroom), Jake Jones (The Forge at Middleton Lodge) and Stuart Ralston (Lyla).

And new for 2026, organisers have also unveiled a VIP experience, which includes arrival drinks, private seating, a drinks service and the chance to pre-order five dishes.

Local DJs will also provide entertainment throughout the day and exclusive foodie prizes and experiences will be up for grabs in the online charity auction.

Siân Byerley, co-owner of Restaurant Pine, said: “Last year’s SecondBite was incredible and raised a huge amount of money for Cancer Research UK. But we’re determined to go one better for ThirdBite 2026. We’ve called in a few favours to bring a stellar line-up to Wylam Brewery and help us raise as much as possible in the fight against cancer.”
